01About TradieNotes

TradieNotes ("we", "us", "our") is an online invoicing tool for US contractors and small businesses, operated by TradieNotes Limited, a company incorporated in New Zealand. By using TradieNotes at tradienotes.net, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

02The Service

TradieNotes allows you to upload a photo of handwritten site notes or provide voice input, which is processed by artificial intelligence to extract job information and generate a PDF invoice or quote. The service is provided on a pay-per-use basis at $2.00 USD per invoice or quote export.

03Payment

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
• All prices are in United States Dollars (USD).
• Payment of $2.00 USD is required to download each invoice or quote PDF.
• Bundle credits may be purchased in advance and applied at export. Bundle credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• You will be charged only after reviewing your invoice preview and choosing to proceed.

04Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital goods, payments are non-refundable once a PDF has been generated and delivered.

05AI Accuracy Disclaimer

TradieNotes uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to read and interpret handwritten notes and voice input. While we strive for accuracy, AI extraction is not perfect. You are responsible for:

• Reviewing all extracted data before generating your invoice or quote.
• Ensuring all figures, line items, and client details are correct.
• Verifying that the final document meets your requirements before sending it to your client.

TradieNotes accepts no liability for errors in AI-extracted data that result in incorrect invoices or quotes being sent to clients.

06Sales Tax & Tax Compliance

TradieNotes provides invoice and quote generation tools only. We are not registered tax agents, accountants, or legal advisors. You are solely responsible for ensuring your invoices comply with applicable US federal and state tax requirements, including correct sales tax treatment for your state and trade type.

07User Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. TradieNotes is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account. You may use the service without creating an account by paying per export.

08Data & Privacy

Your use of TradieNotes is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store your data. Job note images and voice inputs are processed by Google Gemini AI and are subject to Google's data processing terms. We do not sell your data to third parties.

09Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on tradienotes.net is owned by TradieNotes Limited. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission. PDF invoices and quotes generated from your own job data are yours to use freely.

10Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TradieNotes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific export giving rise to the claim.

11Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.

13Governing Law

TradieNotes Limited is incorporated in New Zealand. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your own jurisdiction. For US users, you retain any rights provided under applicable federal and state consumer protection law.
